Accounting Intern
Aufgaben:
- The role will be responsible for financial administration, bookkeeping and accounting. It also has a focus towards process improvement and efficiency and managing and implementing change across a wide range of finance and accounting processes.
- Overseeing financial administration, bookkeeping, and accounting
- Recording and verifying incoming and outgoing invoices
- Managing vouchers, accruals, and provisions
- Creating and maintaining the chart of accounts
- Preparing monthly reconciliations and financial statements
- Issuing monthly invoices to internal and external customers
- Establishing systems for recordkeeping and accounting
- Ensuring compliance with VAT requirements, including reporting
- Adhering to accounting standards, best practices, and regulations
- Driving process improvements for efficiency and accuracy
- Managing and implementing changes across finance processes
- Supporting projects such as Corporate Taxation, Minimum Global Tax, and Transfer Pricing
Qualifikationen:
- The ideal Accounting Intern should meet the following requirements:
- Strong commercial awareness
- Proficient with numbers and strong analytical skills
- Skilled in IT systems, including QuickBooks, SAP, and ERP
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and systematic approach to work
- Excellent planning and time management skills
- Team player with strong collaboration skills
- Proactive and innovative mindset
- Willing to travel abroad and support various projects outside core responsibilities
