Aufgaben:
Participation in translation cancer research using state-of-the-art technologies, such as:
NGS approaches (Cut&Run/Tag, nascent RNA-seq and (single cell)-ATAC-seq)
CRISPR/Cas9 technology (gene knockout, knock-in of protein tags) for generation of model systems
High-throughput drug screening
Advanced cell culture experiments to examine the effects of drug treatment on cell identity propagation
Interpretation of NGS data
Present results at institutional, national and international meetings
Preparation of scientific publications
Qualifikationen:
Applicants must have completed a Master of Science in a related field for example Biology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular Medicine or similar
Experience with basic cell culture techniques and molecular biology methods (real-time PCR, Western blot, cloning, etc.)
Prior knowledge of NGS data analysis is helpful, but not essential
Strong interest in learning and gaining proficiency in bioinformatic analyses
Independent, goal-oriented and structured way of working and ability to work in a team
Confident written and spoken English skills
