Internship Fleet Management / Strategic Procurement
Aufgaben:
- The commercial stream of LH Group's Technical Fleet Management is responsible for the coordination & procurement of maintenance, repair & overhaul (MRO) services for the group airlines, strategically manages >2bEUR spend / year, overviews technical costs and coordinates harmonization.
- Join the fleet management team and help us to secure reliable technical services while managing technical costs as one main cost driver of our airlines. You will support our management team and international colleagues across the group airlines in a variety of tasks:
- Support the development of MRO procurement strategies (Risk Management, ESG, Supplier Relationship Management, Market intelligence)
- Assist in tender projects, including bid analysis and supplier evaluation
- Develop and optimize digital tools and processes to improve procurement efficiency
- Conduct Benchmarking across the group airlines and external markets
- Collaborate with stakeholders and organize management meetings
- You take an online test (within 10 days)
Qualifikationen:
- You are at least in the 3rd semester of a degree program at the time of the internship
- Currently enrolled in an engineering, business, or related degree program (economics, industrial engineering etc.)
- Enrolled for the entire period of the internship (current certificate of enrollment and a written proof of mandatory internship must be enclosed with the application) or the internship between the Bachelor's and Master's degree program (Gap Year)
- Proficiency in English and German, with strong communication skills
- Interest in learning about procurement and the aviation MRO market.
- Proactive, structured, and strong analytical skills with strategic thinking
- Confident handling of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
