Internship Flight Safety Data Engineer department (Safety Data & Performance Measurement Team)
Aufgaben:
- Our department is responsible for the continuous monitoring and evaluation of flight safety as well as compliance monitoring management. In addition, we coordinate safety activities at Group level.
- Support in the further development of the data architecture based on Microsoft Azure Data Factory and Databricks
- Development, monitoring and operation of cloud-based ETL data pipelines
- Development, monitoring and operation of internal ASP.NET Core-based applications
- Provision of data for data analysts and data scientists
- Ensuring compliance with code standards
- Documentation of data pipelines and processes
Qualifikationen:
- At the time of the internship at least in the 4th semester of computer science, mathematics, information systems or comparable.
- Enrollment for the entire period of the internship (current certificate of enrollment and a written proof of mandatory internship must be enclosed with the application) or the internship between the Bachelor's and Master's degree program (Gap Year)
- Basic knowledge of ETL processes
- Good programming skills in SQL, Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, knowledge of PySpark an advantage
- Good knowledge of HTML & CSS
- Good knowledge of ASP.NET Core & Blazor
- Ideally experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Azure Data Factory, Databricks
- Ideally experience in dealing with DevExpress components
- Confident handling of Git
- Fluent in German or English
