Über uns:
Join a dynamic team that tackles the most important issues of our time. We are looking for dedicated interns who can put theories into practice and think creatively.
Aufgaben:
  • How can the future of automation in manufacturing be made more flexible and modular? This project investigates the problem of collaborative control of multiple AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles) for transporting heavy goods. We begin with a theoretical analysis of the controller design, considering various disturbances and uncertainties in practice, such as communication delays and actuator dynamics. The designed controller will then be validated on real-world mobile robots.

  • As a mandatory intern, you will contribute to excellent applied research in autonomous systems, control, and robotics.
  • You will support the further development of academic results for commercial application.
  • Your responsibilities will include investigating new methods and approaches in control engineering and robotics.
Qualifikationen:
  • You are an enrolled master's student in electrical engineering, cybernetics, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of systems theory, nonlinear control, and robotics.
  • Solid programming skills in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or C/C++ are a plus.
  • Practical experience in advanced control design and implementation on real hardware is a big advantage.
  • Fluent German or English skills are desirable.
