Daimler Truck Financial Services has a new and exciting 12 month opportunity for a motivated and passionate Operations Intern. Based at our Head Office in Mulgrave, and working in our Operations team, you will be responsible for providing support across the team, providing a high level of service to the dealer network and contributing to the completion of the daily workflow of the department. Given the multi-dimensional nature of the role, these tasks offer a broad variety of learning opportunities and may include tasks relating to customer phone support, settlements, collections and remarketing. This position is full time hours for a period of 12 months, with real work and real learning opportunities for those starting their careers or finishing their formal education. Aufgaben:
  • Reporting into the Operations Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Assist the Customer Support team by handling inbound and outbound calls, as well as performing associated administrative tasks
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of settlements by reviewing finance documentation for compliance, while meeting individual and team KPIs
  • Authorize and activate contracts in line with operational procedures and company policies
  • Proactively follow up on irregular or incomplete documentation to minimize delays and ensure smooth processing
  • Provide assistance to the Collections team by handling overflow calls and supporting with administrative duties
  • Contribute to the Hardship process by gathering and compiling relevant customer information for submission to the Credit team for assessment
  • Support Remarketing activities as needed, including the coordination of repossessed asset remarketing and managing GBB (Guaranteed Buy Back) returns
Qualifikationen:

The successful applicant will have a strong attention to detail, with an ability to work efficiently within a team whilst maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. You will be a self-starter with exceptional verbal and written communication skills, motivated to learn and carve out an effective start to your career. Your ability to stay organised, problem solve and complete work at a high level will ensure your success in this position. This is a team-oriented position where you will have the opportunity to learn from and support colleagues across the various functions in Operations. It is important that you have and can continue to develop excellent inter-personal skills, conflict resolution and negotiation skills. Competency with MS Office applications and general computing skills are essential for this role. Your ability to learn, communicate well and desire to support customers, solve problems and seek out ways to innovate within this role will hold you in good stead.
