We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied internship at SW configuration management. We develop the software that is used to configure all BMW in-vehicle software. Our software is applied millions of times a year at BMW production, dealerships and for remote software upgrade.
Aufgaben:
- You develop tests for GUI-based end-to-end testing of our central software tool.
- In this role, you analyze test specifications and decide on the architecture of the test to be written.
- You write reusable procedures and modules for other tests.
- Additionally, you write tests to be incorporated into our CI-system using existing procedures and your own code.
- Furthermore, you support the project manager of the end-to-end testing project, gaining exceptional insights into software configuration management.
Qualifikationen:
- Studies in computer science, engineering, physics, mathematics, or a similar course of studies.
- Good German and excellent English skills.
- Proven programming skills in scripting and compiled languages such as Python, Groovy, or Java.
- Experience in writing tests is a big plus.
- Experience in software architecture is highly appreciated.
