Internship in Lufthansa Group Idea Management- Data Analysis and Business Intelligence
Aufgaben:
- We rely on well-founded analyses of the data that we collect via our tool in the Lufthansa Group. Based on this collected data, you will support the implementation of new reporting in Power BI based on defined KPIs as part of the six-month paid internship.
- Technical implementation of reporting in Power BI
- Integration and optimization of data gateways between a standardized API interface (JSON format) of our idea management tool and Power BI
- Preparation and analysis of raw data in Power BI, based on predefined KPIs, in order to identify optimization potentials and control variables of idea management with regard to
- Standardization, transformation and aggregation of data
- Creation of reports and dashboards in Power BI to visualize submitted ideas and their impact
- Validation of the final KPIs in comparison with the raw data collected
- Development and application of data models to evaluate the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of improvement measures
Qualifikationen:
- At the time of the internship, you are at least in the 3rd semester of a degree
- Ideally studying with a focus on business informatics, computer science, business administration, statistics or similar.
- Enrollment for the entire period of the internship (current enrollment certificate and a written proof of mandatory internship must be attached) or the internship between the Bachelor's and Master's program (Gap Year)
- Very good knowledge of Power BI with regard to data transformation and aggregation
- Experience in the use and creation of reports and dashboards in Power BI
- Very good knowledge of API interfaces (JSON format) and data gateways
- Knowledge of MS Excel (incl. pivot tables, formulas, macros), SQL and database queries
- Understanding of data analysis, transformations and economic evaluation of measures
- Analytical thinking and interest in optimizing processes and internal workflows
