State-of-the-art deep neural networks are used for perception tasks, for example, semantic segmentation. For 3D reconstruction and novel view synthesis, AI-based radiance field reconstructions can be used to reconstruct the environment. Both techniques can be combined to create specialized reconstructions of the environment.
