Aufgaben:
- As part of your master's thesis, you will support the analysis and design of wireless communication strategies that can be used in BMW plants worldwide.
- You will work in an international and highly networked team that addresses the complex challenges facing BMW factories.
- The analysis of existing wireless communication protocols with a focus on efficient use of available bandwidth will be also part of your tasks.
- The development of strategies for reliable wireless transmission for large amounts of data in complex environments will also be part of your thesis.
- You support the analysis and simulation of selected communication strategies.
- The Implementation and testing of communication strategies in our test environments rounds off your role.
Qualifikationen:
- Ongoing master's degree in mathematics, engineering, control theory, computer science or similar.
- Basic understanding of wireless communication protocols.
- Knowledge of probability theory and theory of optimal control.
- Practical experience in software development with Python, C/C++ is desirable.
- Very good communication skills in English, German is desirable.
- Analytical thinking and an independent way of working.
